The HLTAID009 – Provide CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) course is designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond effectively to cardiac arrest situations, teaching the techniques needed to perform high-quality CPR.
Certification
Sucessful participants will receive the nationally recognised qualification including the units of competency;
- HLTAID009 Provide CPR.
Qualifications are issed by Safety Training Solution RTO#40590.
Course Duration
This first aid course is comprised of two components;
Face to face training and practical skills assessment (Approximately 2 hours).

Course Overview
Participants will learn the skills and knowledge required to confidently provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation to infants, children and adults in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. this course involves practical activites including th eoperation of an AED (Automated External Defibrilator). This course is suitable for workers in a range of workplaces and the general community who find themselves needing to respond to a person in cardiac arrest.
